Drilling holes
MENNEKES recommends mounting at an ergo-
nomically sensible height depending on the
height of the body.

f Mark the boreholes using the drilling template pro-
vided or as shown in Fig. "Fig. 6: Drilling dimensions
[mm]". Ensure that the alignment is horizontal.
f Drill holes in the wall with a diameter of 6 mm.
Insert cable
f Using the appropriate tool, cut out the required cable
entry out of the device. Cable glands are located on
the back, bottom and top.
f Insert the appropriate membrane screw (included in
delivery) into the respective cable entry point.
„ When inserting the cable on the top or bottom sec-
tion: use membrane screws with strain relief.
„ When inserting the cable on the back section: use
membrane screws without strain relief.

f Insert cables into the device. For this purpose, a hole
must be made in the membrane.
To prevent the ingress of rainwater, the hole in
the membrane should not be larger than the
pipes.
Installing the device
The provided fastening material (screws, dow-
els) are only suitable for installation on concrete
walls, brick walls and wood walls.
f Mount the device on the wall by using the dowels and
screws provided.
Observe the mounting instructions on the packaging

box.

ATTENTION
Device damage due to missing sealing plugs
If the screws in the enclosure are not covered, or are
not adequately covered with the sealing plugs provided,
the specified protection class is no longer ensured.
Consequential damage of electronic components can
occur.
f Cover the screws in the enclosure with the provided
sealing plugs.
f Check the device for firm and secure attachment.
