Initial operation

Remove the battery from the power
tool before carrying out any work.
Risk of injury!
Before you turn on the machine, you must
-
change collet chuck if necessary
-
connect the dust suction,
-
insert the desired cutter,
-
adjust the cutting depth,
-
mount the parallel stop if necessary,
-
clamp in the workpiece.

Change collet chuck

The collet chucks suitable for the device
can be used with a shank diameter of
6 mm or 8 mm.
Only use the cutter with a
shank diameter suitable for
the installed collet chuck.
Use only cutters that are
suitable for the speed of the
power tool.
All cutters of the 6-part cutter set included
in the delivery are provided with an 8-mm
cutter shaft.
Change the collet chuck for cutters with a
6-mm cutter shaft.
1. Press the spindle locking button (10)
on the side of the device and keep it
pressed down.
2. Screw off the cap nut (11) using the
combination wrench (
3. Release the spindle locking button (10).
4. Take out the 8 mm collet chuck (12)
using pliers and insert the 6 mm collet
chuck (20) that is included in the deli-
very. You will hear it click into place.
5. Screw the cap nut (11) loosely back on.
Tighten the cap nut only when a
cutter is inserted. The collet chuck
might get damaged.
Mounting the suction
adapter
You can reduce dust formation while you
work by connecting a dust suction system.
The suction adapter (21) can be inserted
in two positions to enable suction from left
or right.
1. Unlock the cutting depth rough adjust-
ment by turning the locking knob (16)
anticlockwise about half way.
2. Press and hold the cutting depth rough
adjustment button (6).
3. Now move the drive unit (5) fully up
to the top. The drive unit (5) and ba-
seplate (9) are now at the maximum
distance from one another.
4. Let go of the button (6).
5. Fit the suction adapter (21) into the reces-
ses provided (13) in the baseplate (9).
6. To lock, turn the suction adapter (21)
clockwise as far as it allows.
4. Connect the suction hose of a vacuum
cleaner to the suction adaptor (21).
The vacuum cleaner must be
suitable for the workpiece to be
processed. Use a special vacuum
cleaner if dusts with hazard for
health are created.
