Inserting/removing the
battery
1. To remove the battery (1) from the ap-
pliance, press the release buttons (2) on
the battery and pull out the battery.
2. To insert the battery (1), push the bat-
tery along the guide rail into the device.
You will hear it click into place.
Only insert the battery
once the battery-operated
tool is fully ready for use.

Checking the battery charge
level
The battery's (1) charge level is indicated
by the charge state indicator.
• The charge level of the battery is indi-
cated by illumination of the correspond-
ing LED lights (17) while the device is in

operation.

red-yellow-green => Battery fully charged
red and yellow
=> Battery half charged
red
=> Battery needs
Operation
Wear breathing protection (fine
dust mask of protection class FFP2).
Do not wear gloves while milling.

Switching on and off

Ensure your stance is stable and
hold the appliance tightly with both
hands and away from your body.

Before switching the device on,
ensure it is not in contact with the
workpiece.
1. Ensure that the battery (1) is inserted
(see „Removing/inserting the battery").
Switching on:
2. Press and hold the on/off switch (18).
3. Switching on: Slide the on/off switch
(18) upwards so that "I" appears on
the switch.
4. Release the on/off switch (18).
Switching off:
5. Press and hold the on/off switch.
6. Switching off: Slide the on/off switch
(18) downwards so that "0" appears
on the switch.
7. Release the on/off switch (18).

Practical tips

Milling

Always mill in counter direction: in
the process, the machine is moved
counter to the rotation direction of
the cutter.

Never mill in the rotation di-
rection (synchronous opera-
tion). There is the risk of ac-
cidents, as the machine might
be torn out of your hands.
• Use only the cutter that has a specified
permissible rotation speed, which is at
least as high as the maximum rotation
