cleaning the heat exchanger
1. Fully open the front panel of the unit to the top to make the
cleaning job easier.
2. Clean the indoor unit using a cloth dampened with water (at a
temperature not higher than 40 ºC) and neutral soap. Do never
use solvents or detergents.
3. If the radiator of the outdoor unit is clogged, remove leaves and
debris, and dust it with pressurized air or with some water.
end of season maintenance
1. Turn the system off and unplug it from the power source.
2. Clean and replace the air filters.
3. On a sunny dry day, allow the air conditioner to run in the ventila-
tion mode (FAN ONLY) for some hours to remove the moisture
from the interior unit.
replacing the remote control batteries
• Replace batteries when the indoor unit does not confirm with a
sound entering data.
• Replace batteries when the remote control display won't turn on.
Follow these steps to replace the remote control batteries:
1. Remove the back cover of the remote control.
2. Remove old batteries and install new batteries, making sure the
polarity (+) and (-) is correct.
Use only new batteries. Remove the batteries from the remote con-
trol when the air conditioner will be out of service for a long period
of time.
ATTENTION: Do not throw batteries into common trash can. Batter-
ies should be disposed of in special containers located in special col-
lection points
