outdoor unit
• Do not install the outdoor unit near sources of heat, steam or
flammable gas.
• Do not install the unit in a place where it could be exposed to dust
or strong drafts.
• Do not install the unit in a high people traffic path.
• Select a place where the air discharge and operating sound level
will not disturb the neighbors.
• Avoid installing the unit where it will be exposed to direct sun-
light. If necessary, install a protection that will not interfere with
air intake and outlet ports.
• Allow the indicated clearances around the unit to provide the free
flow of air and the necessary spaces in order to perform mainte-
nance jobs.
• Install the outdoor unit in a safe and solid place. Use supports that
do not transmit vibration.
