3.2. Ensure that the mains supply is accessible

Even when the device is switched off, some compo-
nents are still live
To disconnect the power to your device or to complete-
ly isolate the device from voltage sources, disconnect
the device from the power supply completely.
 Only connect the device to an easily accessible mains sock-
et that is close to the place where you have set up the device.
The mains socket must be easily accessible so you can un-
plug the device from the mains quickly if necessary. The local
mains voltage must correspond to the technical specifications
for the device.
 Make sure that the power cord does not present a trip hazard.
Do not allow the power cord to become trapped or squashed.

3.3. Damage

DANGER!
There is a risk of electric shock.
Never, under any circumstances, attempt to open and/
or repair the device yourself.
 Do not use if the device or the power cord is visibly damaged
or if the device has been dropped.
 If the device or power cord is damaged, remove the plug from
the mains socket immediately.
 If the power cord of this device is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer (or relevant customer service) or
other suitably qualified person. This is to avoid hazards.
 In the event of a fault, contact our Service Centre or another
suitable professional repair workshop to prevent hazards.
