• Should you develop any skin lesions due to pressure points please visit your
doctor without delay.
Information for the orthotist/orthopaedic technician
The protective toe guard, part of the short forefoot-pressure-relief version, can be
reshaped at 140°C. Please use heat resistant gloves for this procedure.

Application Instructions

(1) Open all touch-and-close fasteners and remove all straps.
(2) Insert your foot into the open Podo-med shoe.
(3) Product Code 50047 requires you to close the front strap first. (N.B. This product
can be worn with or without the additional insole).
(4) Where a U-shaped fastening strap is supplied (with all forefoot versions) always
position it in such a way that the open ends point to the left if the shoe is worn on
the left foot, or to the right hand side if worn on the right.
(5) Guide and feed the single strap through the loop on the opposite side of shoe and
close fastening. Proceed in the same way with remaining other strap(s). Ensure a
firm but not tight fit. Any excess strap material can be cut off.
Precautions
Follow the advice of the professional who prescribed or supplied the product. Consult
your professional if discomfort occurs. Store at room temperature, preferably in its
original packaging. For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product
for another patient. Any serious incident that occurs in connection with the product
must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member
State in which the user and/or patient are/is domiciled.

Care Instructions

• These shoes can be hand washed at 30°C, using a mild detergent
• Remove all detachable straps and fasten all fixed ones
