Aqua ✓ Nano Extreme water filters were developed especially to filter tap water with
unusually high amounts of fine sediment (smaller than 2 microns). Although the powdered
activated carbon in the Main Filter media does not filter lead, it does provide better flow
with less clogging under these conditions.
How the Aqua ✓ Nano Extreme 3-Stage filtering system works:
Pre-Filter:
Stage 1: EM media removes larger suspended solids to help maximize the life of the main
filter.
Main Filter: Stage 2 & 3
Aqua✓HD Extreme: electropositive filtration media with nanolevel efficiency.

Powdered activated carbon: effectively adsorbs chlorine, tastes and odor.
Note: The adsorption of odors and tastes depends on the concentration found in the water.

FEATURES

Both the UCU-500 Extreme and the LX-500s Extreme models are designed to fit under the
counter; great for those with limited counter space.
UCU-500 Extreme–Integrated Faucet:
• Filters equally well while running either hot or cold water through the system.
• It has a pullout spray head with an armored hose for extra durability that allows you to
reach all parts of the kitchen sink as well as fill large containers.
• The Spray or Stream Function gives you the ability to switch from the regular water
stream to a spray. It is very useful for rinsing fruits and vegetables, washing dishes, etc.
LX-500s Extreme–Secondary Faucet:
• Provides a source of fresh filtered cold water, conveniently at the kitchen sink.
• There is no need to replace the existing faucet. The LX-500s Extreme installed next to it
is a stylish addition to any kitchen sink area.
To ensure your supply of filtered water is uninterrupted, both Aqua ✓ Nano Extreme
models are equipped with a visual flow meter that indicates when it is time to replace the
Main Filter media.
