3. ATTACHING THE BASE
ASSEMBLY
Connecting the Data Cable and battery installation
a. Disconnect the Inlet Assembly from the top of the Pre-Filter Cartridge by turning
counter clockwise, then, remove the Pre-Filter from the Main Filter.
b. Install two new, high quality, AA batteries (not included) in the Filter Base and insert
the Data Cable into the Data Cable Port on the underside of the base.

IMPORTANT: When the batteries are installed, the replacement lights will fire a test
sequence. If all lights do not light, you may have a broken wire on installation. Contact
Rena Ware Customer Service if this occurs.
Connecting the Base Assembly to the Spout
To connect the Base Assembly to the Spout Body, you will use the connectors.
