*Actual capacity will depend on the amount of suspended solids and particles in your local water system. In certain
water supplies, tastes or odors may be reduced but not completely eliminated or the flow may decrease prior to
reaching the rated capacity. In these cases, the Main Filter media should be replaced more often. For optimum
performance, we recommend replacing the Main Filter media at least every 5 years or when the water flow is too low,
even if the red light has not yet come on. The Main Filter media must be replaced when the indicator light flashes red.
