9. CHARGING THE SYSTEM
To improve the flow rate and to reduce the "run on" of water after the Secondary Faucet is
turned off, the system needs to be "charged". Charging purges trapped air from the system.
a. Remove the Inlet Assembly from the top of the Pre-Filter and remove the Pre-Filter
Cartridge being careful to minimize the water that spills onto the base unit.
b. Pour water into the top hole to fill the Main
Filter Cartridge.
c. Re-install the Pre-Filter Cartridge and again pour in water into the top hole of the Pre-
Filter Cartridge until it is full and re-connect the Inlet Assembly.
