Strictly follow the Instructions for Use

Any use of the apparatus requires full understanding
and strict observation of these instructions.
A special note on the pump block about the handling of
oxygen and brief instructions for use on the inside of the
container cover complete these instructions for use.
The apparatus is only to be used for purposes specified
here.

Maintenance

The device must be inspected and serviced by experts
at regular intervals. A record of the inspections must be
kept.
Repair and general over-haul of the device may only be
carried out by trained service personnel.
We recommend that a service contract be obtained with
Dräger and that all repairs also be carried out by Dräger.
Only authentic Dräger Safety spare parts may be
used for maintenance. Observe chapter 'maintenance
intervals'.
The operator is responsible for compliance with the
valid regulations and legal requirements at the installa-
tion site.
The following regulations apply in Germany:
 Occupational safety directive (BetrSichV) including
the technical regulations for occupational safety
(TRBS).
 Technical regulations for pressurized gases (TRG),
in particular TRG 400, 401, 402, 730, 790.
 Legal accident prevention regulations for gases
(BGR 500,Section 2.33) and oxygen (BGR 500,
Section 2.32).
 Directive for the use of pressure vessels (DGRL).
According to TRG 400, 730, 790, filling systems must
undergo an acceptance test at the installation site be-
fore initial operation. They must therefore be registered
with the responsible technical inspection authority
(TÜV) upon submission of the supplied certificates. The
certificates must be kept in a safe place, as they will be
needed for the regular acceptance tests carried out by
TÜV.
All oxygen-carrying parts of the booster pump as well
as the tools and testing equipment used must be kept
free from oil and grease. Oil, grease and other materi-
als that are not suitable for use with oxygen can defla-
grate if they come into contact with oxygen and lead to
serious injury.
