Fault
Pressure does not build up during
pumping
Leakage at piston sealings
Leakages in the connecting hoses or
system
If it is impossible to remedy faults as described above or
in case of other faults, please contact Dräger.

Cause
Leakage across the cartridge check
valve
Wear due to high temperatures or to
low inlet pressures during pumping
Vibration, mechanical stress, defec-
tive O-rings
Remedy
Depressurize pump, remove car-
tridge check valves and replace
them.
Make sure they fit in proper flow di-
rection!
Insert new piston sealings.
Pressurize system.
Identify leakages using leak detect-
ing agents suitable for use with gas.
Depressurize system and exchange
respective components.
Replace O-rings.
