Maintenance Ziptec

1 - Cleaning the Ziptec
Ziptec Clean with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasives,
solvents, or alcohol. These products can damage the text on the apparatus.
2 - Charging the battery
Upon delivery of the product, the 9V battery Lithium-ion battery can be
discharged and must be charged for 12 hours (with Ziptec off) to get a full charge.
When fully charged, the battery typically provides 6 hours of continuous use. This
time can vary depending on the use of backlighting and function ohmmeter, which
consume more energy.
When using battery power, the indicator at the bottom left of the screen informs
you of the battery status. The battery status symbols are:
The symbol indicates the remaining few minutes of operation and
measurements can lose accuracy.
To charge the battery, plug it into the charger base.
To recharge the battery faster, turn the Ziptec.
Warning: To prevent overheating of the battery during charging, do not
exceed the permissible ambient temperature described in the
specifications.
Damage may occur if you leave the battery charger plugged in for a long
period, for example, more than a day.
