Wounds
When working on vehicles without latch displacement runs the risk of being
crushed against a bench.
The engines have rotating parts and furniture that can cause injury to hands and
arms.
Electric fans may work for drive unexpected, even with the engine or ignition off.
To test the system with no risk of the wiring and mains.
Materials and objects in inappropriate places can also endanger the safety of the
operator.
- Prevention
• During testing, lock the vehicle so that it does not move.
• Do not touch the parts with the engine running.
• When working near electric fans, first let the engine cool, then connect the
plug of the fan.
• Keep cables close to the engine.
Noises
When the engine is at high RPM because of testing, noise levels can exceed 70
dB (A), causing hearing damage.
- Prevention
• Protect against noise where the tests are done.
• It is advisable to use earplugs.
