Using the multimeter

1 - Input Connections
For most measurements connection is required to probe, connected to the
accessory connector Ziptec (1). The black cable clamp (2) must be connected to
a ground point on the vehicle as the negative pole of the vehicle battery.
The measurement is made through the probe (3).
You can also use the red probe to (4) that accompanies the kit Ziptec, connected
to the positive terminal of the connection to the probe.
Never use the probe Ziptec (3) and external probe (4) at the same time. As the
two are interconnected, short circuits generated accidentally during
measurements may damage the equipment.
In some measurements may be needed to connect other fittings such as
connecting clamps (5) or cable head (6).
