Corrosion
Importantly, acids and alkalis cause serious injuries on unprotected skin.
The hydrogen fluoride with moisture (water) form hydrofluoric acid.
When replacing the measuring sensor and the O 2 sensor for measuring NO see
if the measuring sensors contain acid.
Note also that condensate which accumulates in the hose and collecting the
condensate contains acid.
- Prevention
• Rinse with water the affected parts of the skin and then seek medical
attention.
• If a display is damaged can leak liquid crystal. Avoid inhalation or ingestion of
the liquid and skin contact.
• Wash with soap and water, skin and clothing that came in contact with the
liquid crystal.
• In case of inhalation or ingestion, seek medical advice immediately.
• The sensors measuring O 2 and NO are different materials that need to be
packed in special container.
