has been delivered to you today. The
garment
concerned
made article which meets the essential
requirements of directive 93/42/EEC
for medical products and is only
to
be
applied
named in the patient ID card. So
please check if your name is stated
correctly in the patient ID card.
You may need to wear this com-
pression garment for a longer period
of time, depending on the indication.
Please also comply with the instructions
given by the physicians, therapists and
truss makers. If you experience severe
discomfort or un-pleasant sensations
you should contact your physician or
medical supplies store.
Wearing the CICATREX
garment continuously for 24 hours
a day helps ensure a positive healing
process. Only you personally can make
this important contribution.
You have been provided with a high-
quality product which has been cal-
culated with the assistance of a computer
and manufactured specifically for you.
If the compression garment is subjec-
ted to modifications not performed by
the manufacturer, the guarantee, as
well as product liability, will become
null and void.

Indications
The CICATREX
compression garment is

suitable for patients with the following
indications:
- scar hypertrophy and keloid scars
(excessive scar tissue)
- scar
prophylaxis
chemical and electrical injuries
- skin transplants
- reconstructional plastic surgery
- severe dermatological lesions

Contraindications
- Advanced
occlusive disease
- Decompensated heart insufficiency
- Cardiogenic edema due to heart in-
sufficiency
- Myocardial infarction
- Lung edema
Other (relative) contraindications are:
- Wetting dermatoses
- Sensitivity disorders
- Advanced peripheral neuropathy
- Primary chronic polyarthritis
