Installing the AtmosAir 300 / 300P Seat Cushion

Remove AtmosAir Seat Cushion from plastic protective cover.
The cushion cover may appear wrinkled when unpacked. To remove wrinkles,
allow cushion up to 24 hours to acclimate; see Troubleshooting table on page 6
for more information. Wrinkles will not affect inflation or function, so cushion may
be used immediately if needed.

Check cushion surface for tears or cracking; do not use if tears or cracks are
present.

If re-installing cushion onto a new chair or for a new patient, check cushion
surface for staining and soiling; clean and / or disinfect as required
(see Care and Cleaning section on page 5).
4.
Lock brakes on wheelchair.
5.
Remove any existing cushion from wheelchair.
6.
Position the AtmosAir Seat Cushion on the wheelchair ensuring that the cushion
is oriented correctly. Ensure there are no gaps at the sides or back of the cushion.
Ensure the cushion is properly secured to prevent sliding or shifting.
Transfer Patient to the AtmosAir 300 /
300P Seat Cushion
1.
Verify all brakes are locked.
2.
Transfer patient following all applicable safety rules and institution protocols.
Adjust Cushion Positioning (300P Model)
There are three sections of the seat cushion that can be inflated separately or in any
combination. The three sections are the left buttock / thigh area, the right buttock / thigh
area and the front area of the cushion.
