Care and Cleaning
General instructions
When blood and / or body fluids are present, consult a healthcare professional
for proper use of the following throughout all cleaning procedures:
•
impermeable or waterproof gloves
•
plastic apron or gown
•
protective eyewear
Laundering Procedure for Cushion Cover and Inner Liner
Do not use solvents or alcohol.
1.
Set washing machine for warm wash using
the longest wash cycle and cold water rinse.
2.
Spray heavily soiled areas with stain-removing
prewash spray.
3.
Add a high-quality liquid detergent measured
in accordance with manufacturer's directions.
Use detergent only. Do not add bleach to wash
water when laundering cushion cover unless it is physician recommended.
Consult your physician if there are specific infection control concerns. Add
a maximum of one cup of bleach to wash water (1/2 oz / 14.78 mL per
gallon / liter).
4.
Allow washing machine to agitate for two minutes before adding cushion cover.
5.
Add soiled items to washing machine.
Do not overload washing machine. Exceeding the capacity of the machine
may prevent thorough cleaning.
6.
Remove items from washer after a full cycle is completed.
7.
Remove excess water from cushion cover.
8.
Place items into dryer. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not use high heat.
Cleaning Procedure for Hoses and SAT System
The hoses and SAT System should be cleaned using any all-purpose household cleaner
suitable for use on plastics. After cleaning, wipe with a clean dry cloth. DO NOT CLEAN
WITH SOLVENTS OR PRODUCTS NOT SUITABLE FOR PLASTIC PRODUCTS.
