4. Fit a suitable accessory tool to the impact wrench and then bring it into
position on the product to be tightened.
5. Press the control switch and hold it in this position until the torque module
emits one of the following signal tones (Note: the tone generator may
deactivated).

• The symbol indicating "Bolting completed successfully" is displayed.
• The indicator LEDs light green.
• The confirmation tone is emitted.
The bolted connection has been tightened correctly. You may proceed
with the next bolted connection of the same type.

• The symbol indicating "Bolting not completed correctly" is displayed.
• The indicator LEDs light red.
• The warning tone is emitted.
▶ Use a suitable torque wrench to tighten the bolted connection.
▶ Once you have completed the operation, confirm this by pressing the
OK button.
5.10 Checking threaded fastener
5.10.1 Checking the security of stud anchors
Note
To ensure that the specified installation torque as per the approval /
operating instructions has been correctly applied when the "Adaptive"
operating mode is used to tighten stud anchors, the first anchor and
the last anchor have to be checked with a suitable, calibrated torque
wrench. This check of the applied installation torque has to be carried
out immediately after tightening (installation) of the stud anchor.
▶ Use a suitable, calibrated torque wrench to check the tightening torque
applied to the fastening element. In this process, observe the angle
through which the fastening element can be turned in the tightening
direction.
