II.3.1.1
Electrical Circuit
• Check the fastening of all terminals for every single electrical usage.
• Check the condition of the electrical cables (no cuts on protection
sheaths) and proper fastening.
• Use proper instruments to check earthing.
• For long periods of machine shutdown, it is advisable to run the fans
for at least 3-4 hours a month.
II.3.2
NON-SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
II.3.2.1
Instructions for the replacement of
components
Periodically check proper operation of the fans. If any electrical or
mechanical failures should be found, the motor must be replaced as
follows:
• Ensure that the power supply is off, then open the connector block
on the motor
• Disconnect and remove the power cable
• Unscrew the fastening screws on the grill
• Replace with the new motor proceeding in reverse order
• After making the electrical connection, check that the direction of
rotation is correct.
II.3.2.4
Troubleshooting checklist
PROBLEM
Condensation pressure too high
Condensation pressure too low
Fans stopped
II.3.2.2
To refill with refrigerant in the best possible way, fill the unit on both
sides, high and low pressure at the same time, to avoid an overload of
the compressor which may damage it.
Any topping up of the system on units with R407C refrigerant
(R32/R125/R134a) must be carried out in the liquid phase, piping it
from a cylinder so as not to alter its composition.
II.3.2.3
The unit should only be dismantled by a firm authorized for the disposal
of scrap machinery/products.
The entire machine is composed of materials which can be handled as
secondary raw materials.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Air flow to condenser obstructed by dirt on
finned coil
Faulty fan
Wrong direction of air through coil
Air temperature too low
Capacity through condenser too high
Motor failure
Line voltage lower than tolerance limits

SECTION II: INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
Refilling with refrigerant
Dismantling the unit and disposal of harmful
substances
ENVIRONMENTAL SAFEGUARD!
RHOSS cares about protecting the environment.
When the unit is dismantled it is important to
adhere scrupulously to the following procedures
SOLUTION
Clean coil with soapy water or non-corrosive
liquid
Replace.
Invert fan direction by changing two of the three
phases
Adjust regulation of condensation pressure
Replace.
Check the voltage values between phases with
an appropriate instrument
