THREE POINT ZIGZAG (J) - used as standard zigzag, but for difficult elastic
materials. Because of three point stitch will stretch with working material.
BOX STITCHING (l) - Use this stitch to join heavy weight interlining. Overlap two
raw edges together and use this stitch to join them.
SAFETY STITCH (K) - used for blind hemming in dresses, trouser leg -this stitch
will sew without stitches showing on right side of fabric. Remember to match
colour of the thread to sewing material.
BUTTONHOLE SEWING
1.
Mark position and length of buttonhole on fabric.
2.
Insert buttonhole foot and adjust fabric that point C on
the foot will be match to point B on the fabric.
3.
Choose (left side of the buttonhole) on the dial. Lower
the needle and start to sew till the pint A. Stop to sew
and raise the needle to its highest position by turning the
hand wheel.
Choose on the dial and make 4-6 stitches. Stop to sew

Choose (left side of the buttonhole) on the dial. Lower
the needle and start to sew till the pint A. Stop to sew

Choose on the dial and make 4-6 stitches. Stop to sew
and raise the needle to its highest position by turning the
hand wheel.
7.
After finish take out the fabric and cut the hole inside the
buttonhole using seam ripper.

SCALLOP STITCH (F,G,H,I) - these stitches are used to sew a
decorative edge on garments and table cloths.
