2.- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The SVGm IP54 static var generator can be used to correct the power factor. For both backward (induc-
tive) and forward (capacitive) currents.
The AFQm IP54 has a cabinet-type enclosure with reinforced protection to keep out dust and water,
which allows the device to be safely installed in dusty places or where it may be reached by splashing
water.
The device has an additional ventilation system to increase protection against dust ingress. This venti-
lation system is achieved by optimising the ventilation of the internal modules, which provides a great
advantage when installing the device, which can be installed as a standard device.
The device features:
- 3/4-wire multifunction, for installation in three-phase mains with or without neutral.
- Parallel installation of up to 100 devices (Models 67, 69 and 100 kvar), 50 devices (Models
134, 138 and 200 kvar), 30 devices (Models 201, 207 and 300 kvar) and 25 devices (Models
268, 276 and 400 kvar).
- LCD touch display, to view the parameters.
- RS-485 and Ethernet communications.
- Cabinet-type enclosure with IP54 protection.
- EMI filters.
