• Pressure drop while cutting due to
incorrectly set pressure monitor
• Loose electrode
• Pilot arc struck too long and too
frequently in the air

• Correct the pressure monitor
setting
• Hand-tighten the electrode
• Shorten/avoid ignitions in the air
if possible
