4.10 DISMANTLING THE PULL BAR FROM

PONYBENCH BTPLUS

Procedure for dismantling the pull bar from PONYBENCH

BTPLUS:

•

Before lowering the lift, check that there are no

persons, objects and/or animals around and below

the lift that could be trapped or crushed in the event

of the vehicle falling off.

��

•

Press the <ascent> push-button (Figure 9 No.5)

��

and raise PONYBENCH BTPLUS to a height of

��

about 50 cm and then stop the movement.

•

Press the safety device release push-button (Figure

9 No.6 ) and press the <descent> push-button (

Figure 10 No.4 )

•

Hold down the commands with both hands until

PONYBENCH BTPLUS stops on reaching the fi rst

stop height, checking if the pull bar wheels are

��

positioned in contact with the fl oor or very near to

��

it.

��

•

Pull the <open-close> push-button of the pull bar

��

locking pistons (Figure 9 No.12 ) in order to return

��

the locking cylinder (Figure 10 No.3 ) of the pull bar

��

restraining pneumatic mechanism, thus freeing the

��

pin securing the support block.

��

•

Slide the pull arm off the support and push it to a

� ��

safe position that does not obstruct free movement

��

of the equipment and vehicles in the workshop.
