3.13 MOTOR POLARITY CHECK

�

��

Before any operation, the motor polarity must be checked

��

as follows:

��

•

Make sure that the key is fi tted on the mushroom head

emergency push-button.

•

Turn the mushroom-shaped

clockwise until it is released (1).

•

Press the reset button on the right of the mushroom-

��

shaped emergency button (2):

•

Press the <ascent> (5) button for about three seconds:

��

the lift should rise.

��

•

If the lift does not rise, the motor polarity must be

��

changed as follows (Figure 10 page 70 ):

��

DANGER! Always disconnect the machine

��

whenever working on the power supply

��

terminal block. Contact of parts of the body

�

��

with live parts of the machine can cause

��

serious injury and even death.

��

•

Disconnect the control unit using the appropriate

�

switch on the distribution board.

��

•

Press the mushroom-shaped emergency button (1)

��

until it is locked in its self-retaining position.

�

��

•

Open the cover of the control button-board panel,

��

disconnect the L1 and L3 wires from the terminals and

��

change over their positions.

�

Close the button-board panel cover, tightening the

��

appropriate screws .

��

•

Turn on power to the lift system from the power

distribution panel.

�

��

•

Turn the mushroom-shaped

��

clockwise until it is released (1).

•

Press the reset button on the right of the mushroom-

shaped emergency button (2):

� ��

•

Press the <ascent> (5) button for about three seconds:

the vehicle lift should rise.

� ��

•

After carrying out all the operations described

previously, complete the procedure by replacing the

� ��

control console metal casing on the control unit.

��

•

Place the casing on the frame of the control console

and secure it with the Allen screws.

•

Place the keyboard cover ( No.2 – Figure 8) over

the control console and secure it with socket head

screws.

��

3.14 AFTER CONNECTION

��

When the connections and checks have been completed,

��

lift installation must be completed as follows:

��

Check that no tools, screws, nuts or other objects

have been left on the fl oor and, removing them if

necessary: the area must be perfectly clear.

Check that there are no oil stains on the fl oor, removing

��

them if necessary: the area must be perfectly clean.
