5.1.4.2 Activating amda
Activate amda

the anterior stop screws on the amda
easier. Depending on the desired initial force (see Fig. 6), move the anterior
stop screw with the inner telescopic tube using mosquito forceps towards
posterior and tighten the screw. Then, loosen the posterior stop screw
and remove the mosquito forceps. This step creates the distalization force
and activates the first side.
Repeat this procedure for the other side. If needed, you can adjust a
different amount in force on each side.
