2. General description

amda is a skeletal anchorage device for the distalization and / or

mesialization of upper molars. The device is based on a sliding mechanism.
The active element is a spring encapsulated in a telescopic element
(amda telescope; Fig. 1, ❶). The maximum spring travel is 4 mm
