5 – OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 –CONTROLS AND POWER SUPPLY UNIT
The laboratory micromotor is equipped with the following command and
control devices located on the power supply unit:
* for bench top models refer to Fig. 1 – for floor models refer to Fig. 2*
a) main power switch with green indicator (1);
b) black tool rotation direction selector (reverse) (6). When reverse tool
rotation is selected (normal=clockwise, reverse=counterclockwise)
amber LED (10) illuminates;
c) tool rotation footpedal (2) (bench top models only);
d) tool speed slider control (7) (bench top models only);
e) motor rpm display (R.P.M. x 100) (8) (bench top models 3000 and
5000 only);
f) footpedal type speed control (9) (floor models only);
g) power circuit fuse (11).

5.2 – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
5.2.1 - Startup
With the appliance powered down for safety, fit the required tool into the
handpiece. This is achieved by turning lever (A - Fig. 3) through 90° either
towards the right or towards the left, fitting the tool inside collet (B). Now
return lever (A) to its original position to lock the tool.
The appliance can now be powered up by means of main power switch
(1).
