extract the motor from its location after desoldering the wires in
models 3000 and 5000, or after detaching connector (L) as shown in
Fig. 6.

in the case of soldered connections take care to reconnect the new
motor observing the correct polarity; if you are in doubt, connect the
motor temporarily and check the direction of rotation.
When refitting the rear cap after installing a new motor take care not to
twist the connecting wires.
7 - DIAGNOSTICS
If the appliance is not working first check the condition of the fuse in the
rear.
If necessary, fit a replacement fuse rated as specified in table 2.1
(technical data).
Before checking the fuse, set the main switch to 0 (OFF) and disconnect
the appliance from the electrical power supply; now check the fuse and
replace if necessary.
After the screwcap has been refitted the power cable can be reconnected.
If malfunctions and faulty operation is persistent, set the main
power switch to OFF, unplug the appliance and consult CARLO DE
GIORGI.
When communicating a fault, ensure you explain the exact nature of
the problem to our technical personnel.
