COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

CONTROLS
The air conditioners of the FW-R series
must be combined with the TL3 acces-
sory
The TL3 accessory kit consists of a remote
controller, receiver with auxiliary control-
ler for wall recess mounting (wall box
module 503), connector cable between
the receiver and the electronic control
board of the air conditioner.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOARD
The electronic control board in located in the elec-
trical panel and automatically performs all the
control functions.
In particular it ensures:
– a three minute delay timer from first
start and after each stop,
– the space temperature control,
– the automatic use and control of the
electric heater or the hot water coil, if
installed.
FAN ASSEMBLY
Consists of double inlet centrifugal fans
ACCESSORIES
TL 3 REMOTE CONTROLLER WITH
RECEIVER (Mandatory accessory)
Infra red remote controller with LCD dis-
play for the control of all functions. The
kit is composed of a remote control, a
receiver of IR signals, from the connec-
tion cable 8 meters long, by a rectangular
box recessed module 503 (of which only
one occupied by the receiver, the other
two modules are also available for other
uses) and a cover plate white color.
It is a mandatory accessory for operation
in that the unit is shipped without.

FILTER SECTION
Allows the filtration and purification of the
air supplied into the space. Easily remov-
able and manufactured from washable
material it can be cleaned by washing.
THERMAL HEAT EXCHANGE COIL
In copper tubes mechanically expanded
into aluminium fins.
STRUCTURE
Manufactured in galvanised steel. Each
unit is fitted with a condensate drain tray.
CASING
Manufactured in powdered polyurethane
hot painted sheet metal after passivation
to ensure resistance to rust and corro-
sion.
COMPRESSOR
High efficiency rotary hermetic type driven
by a two pole electric motor with internal
The IR receiver can be installed:
- On-board of the unit, the IR receiver is
placed under the grid, invisible from the
outside.
- Encased in the wall and connected to the
unit with the dedicated cable (8 meters).
BVR 1 HOT WATER HEATING COIL
The heating coil operates with hot water
and is installed in the unit above the
evaporating coil. Within the coil there is
a minimum temperature sensor which
stops the operation of the fans if the
water temperature is below 35°C.

PRESSOSTATIC VALVE
Modulates the water flow to the heat
exchanger in order to maintain the con-
densing pressure constant.
WATER COOLED CONDENSER
Plate heat exchanger type in stainless steel
AISI 316.
HIGH PRESSURE PRESSOSTAT
To TÜV standard, of the miniguard type
with fixed setting and manual reset. Stops
the compressor operation in the event
the refrigerant pressure exceeds maxi-
mum operation pressure,
BR 26 ELECTRIC HEATING COIL
Consists of a shielded type electric heating
element of 1200 Watt. Supplied loose
with the electric heater is a protective
isolating metal sheet for the casing. The
coil is supplied complete with manual
and automatic reset safety thermostats.
