DESCRIPTION OF THE UNIT

PURPOSE OF THE MACHINE
The cassette type fancoil unit is a terminal for the treatment of
air in a room regardless of whether it is summer or winter.
The unit is ceiling-mounted with the possibility of treating
fresh outside air and sending treated air to an adjacent rooms.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Ventilating axial-centrifuge 4-speed unit.
- Very quiet operation.
- Great well-designed grille appearance.
- Grille dimensions respect standard suspending ceiling
panel sizes (600x600 mm), with single-panel units (sin-
gle) and higher power for two panels (twin).
- Continuous fan functioning to avoid the air becoming
stratified.
- Possibility of outside air being brought in.
It is also possible to cool one or two adjacent rooms.
- Easy to install and maintain.
- Electrostatically pre-charged, self-bearing filter, featuring
great efficiency and low pressure drops Fire Resistance
Class 2 (UL900).
- Air filter easy to remove and clean with vacuum cleaner.
- Standard hot/cold battery valve. .
- Full compliance with accident protection regulations.

PACKAGING

The cassette fan coils are sent in standard packaging made
of foam polystyrene and cardboard.
OPERATIONAL LIMITS
Maximum water input temperature
Maximum operating temperature
Maximum height off the ground
The assembly site must be chosen in such a way that the
maximum and minimum ambient temperature limits Ta are
respected 0°C < Ta < 45°C ; R.H. < 85%.
The FCA cassette fan coils are powered with a voltage of
230 V monophase at 50 Hz and ground connection, in any
case the power of the line must remain within the limit of
±10% with respect to the nominal value.
If the fan coil is working in cold continuous mode inside an
environment where the relative humidity is high, condensa-
te might form on the air delivery. Said condensate might be
deposited on the floor and on any objects underneath. To
avoid condensate on the external structure of the apparatus
with the fan in operation, the average temperature of the
water must not be lower than the limits shown in the table
below, that depend on the thermo-hygrometric condition of
the air in the environment. The above limits refer to fan
movement at minimum speed.
The use of water at high temperatures could cause
squeaking due to the different thermal expansions of the
elements (plastics and metals), this does not however cause
damage to the unit if the maximum operating temperature is
not exceeded.
