Ensure the earth cable is connected to the building's earth connection. Ensure a suitable circuit
Earthing
breaker is installed for an earth leakage protection.
Do not connect the earth cable to the gas or water tubing, lightning protection or the telephone
earthing cable
• Water tubing: Some parts of the water tubing are manufactured in plastic materials and are not suitable
for earthing.
• Gas tubing: If there is an accidental electrical discharge from the air conditioning unit this could easily
be the cause of a fire or even an explosion.
USER WARNINGS
• Do not dismantle or repair the unit
whilst it is operating.
• Do not obstruct the unit air inlet our out-
let. The reduction of air flow reduces effi-
ciency of the air conditioner and causes
malfunctions or faults.
• The user instructions are supplied loose
with the TL3 accessory.
• Do not spray or pour water directly onto
the unit. The water could cause electrical
shocks or damage to the unit.
• Do not allow children or incapacitated
persons from using the unit without ade-
quate supervision; children must not use
the unit as a toy.
• Ensure that the air conditioner is
connected to the electrical power supply
or to a socket of correct voltage and
frequency. Power supplies of incorrect
voltages and frequencies could cause
damage to the unit, with the consequent
risk of fires. The voltage must be stable
and there must be no large fluctuations.
• Do not pull or deform the power supply
cable. If the cable is pulled or used
inappropriately, the unit could suffer
damage or cause electrical shocks.
• Correctly set the temperature to have a
comfortable environment.
• Never position anything beneath the
internal unit because it might become
Stop the operation, remove the electrical power supply and contact the service assistance:
If the unit produces anomalous sounds during operation.
If the unit emits strong smells during operation.
If water comes out of the unit.
If the electrical protective devices operate frequently.
If the internal of the unit comes into contact with water or other liquids.
If the power cable or the plug get hot.
DRAINING WATER FROM THE CIRCUIT
If the unit is installed in a very cold room then
during the winter the water must be drained
from the circuit to prevent freezing.

wet. Water might drip from the internal
unit when the humidity is higher than
80% or if the condensate discharge is
obstructed.
•Switch of the electrical isolator if the
unit is not used for extended periods.
When the electrical isolator is switched
on electricity is consumed even when the
system is not operating.
• Do not open doors or windows for long
periods when the air conditioner is
operating.
The capacity is reduced when doors and
windows are open with consequent
waste of energy.
• Periodically check the condition of instal-
lation to ensure there have been no
alteration. Have the system checked by a
qualified technician.
• Do not remove the unit protective pan-
els.
• Do not place objects on the unit and do
not climb onto the unit. This could cause
the objects or person to fall, with subse-
quent risk of damage.
• In the case of air conditioner anomalies
(for example smells of burning), switch
off the unit and immediately disconnect
the electrical power supply through the
isolator or electrical plug (if present).
If the anomaly persists the unit could
be damaged and can cause electrical
shocks or fires. Contact the local Service
Assistance.
• Do not use sprays or insecticides onto
the unit: this can cause fires.
• Do not insert fingers or objects into the
unit.
• Do not start or stop the air conditioner
using the main isolator or the plug.
Energy saving recommendations:
• Do not leave windows or doors open
when the unit is operating. The efficien-
cy of the air conditioner is reduced and
energy is wasted.
• When operating in cooling mode the
selected temperature must not be more
than 5°C with respect to the external
temperature, in order to retain comfort
and energy saving advantages.
• Limit the direct exposure of the room to
sunlight with curtains or window blinds.
• Do not place near the unit any heat-
ing equipment, fires or other sources of
heat. The efficiency of the air conditioner
is reduced and energy is wasted.
• Clean the filters once every two weeks.
• If an anomalous sound is heard during
operation immediately contact the local
Service Assistance.
