Follow the steps below to service the blades:
To perform blade maintenance, the first step is to

remove the belt and belt guard as described on
page 39 - "Belt Maintenance".
Then, remove the nuts (1) and spring washer (2)

from screw (3) fixing the bearing (9) on the machine
base. Using a puller remove the bearing (4) from
spindle (5). After removing the bearing remove the
retaining ring (6), washer (10) blade (7) and the
padding (8), as well as other bushing and blades as
shown in Figure 3.

Aeration
The grooves resulting from AR-40 aeration process
contributes significantly to the renewal and
strengthening of natural lawn and tidiness of
artificial grass bristles, thus helping to distribute
granulated rubber used to keep the grass healthy
and allowing optimum conditions for the practice
of sports as shown in Figure 5.

On the side of the pulley, remove the parts (1, 2 & 3),

as well as the inner belt protection plate (11).
To reassemble the entire disc and keep the same

balance proceed as follows. Place the retaining ring
(6) into the cavity of the spindle (5), place the blade
(7) by inserting a padding (8) between them,
depending on the angle and position shown in
Figure 4, then proceed until the blades and paddings
are mounted on the spindle (5). Finally, place the
washer (10), the retaining ring (6) into the spindle
cavity (5) and fit the bearing case (9) with the bearing
(4) on the machine base by securing it with the nuts
(1), washers (2) and screw (3).

After lawn aeration, it is recommended to proceed
to lawn fertilization or liming. Replanting is only
necessary in case of large clearings.
Note: This applies to natural grass only.
