Counter cutting blade
Periodic retightening, as well as setting the counter
cutting, are indispensable. The adjustment is made
by loosening the hex nut (1) according to figures 10
and 12, moving the counter cutting (3) until the
knives (2) pass at a distance of approximately 1.5
mm from the counter cutting (3), according to
Figure 11. The counter cutting (3) should be
replaced when signs of wear.
After adjusting the distance between the knife and
counter-knife and tighten the screws, in the
crusher's cutting set (Figure 10) or in the chopper's
cutting set (Figure 12) manually turn the cutting
disks of both cutting sets so as to very if all the
knives are in the same distance from the counter-
knife. If any interference is found in the distance
between the knife and the counter-knife, adjust
and, then, start the job.

Tichtening of screws
Due to the impact and constant vibrations
caused by chopping and grinding of
materials, the screws must be verified
for tightening; if necessary, they must be
retightened according to the torque table
in this manual. If necessary, contact a
TRAPP Technical Assistant.
