Position 5 (minimum height)
Correct position when you want to:
Natural grass: position in that the work provides
more efficient removal of organic wastes and dead
leaves, creating grooves in the soil that help
renovating and strengthening the lawn. This position
can damage the soil or the entire disc according to
the topography of the terrain. In that case, it is
recommended to observe the engine rotation, which
should not be pushed to the limit; if this occurs, it is
recommended to change the height adjustment to a
higher position.
Synthetic grass: position at which the work provides
for more bulky bristles and helps distributing
granulated rubber used to maintain the grass, thus
allowing optimum conditions of the lawn for the
practice of sports. This position may damage the
synthetic carpet or the entire disc according to the
topography of the terrain. In that case, it is
recommended to observe the engine rotation, which
should not be pushed to the limit; if this occurs, it is
recommended to change the height adjustment to a
higher position.

Notes:
Before carrying out the work in a given
area, perform a test with the height
adjustment set or desired for a small area.
For other maneuvers during work, lift
the front wheels.
4. To switch on, press the red button (1) then pull
the safety lever (2) of the current breaker switch
as shown in Figure 7-A. The engine works only
when the safety lever (2) is flush with the handle
and it will switch off automatically as soon as
it is released, as shown in Figure 7-B;
Attention!
If the synthetic lawn is too compressed,
it is recommended to decompress
the lawn using position 1 height, which
is the highest.
Then proceed by lowering the positions
gradually until it reaches the best
height for decompression.
When the lawn is too compressed, the
immediate use of AR-40 in position
5 (lowest height) may damage the
synthetic bristles.
