Never leave the engine running in closed rooms or
non-ventilated places. The exhaust gas contains
carbon monoxide, a lethal and inodorous gas.
Objects thrown by the aerator - May can cause
serious injuries to people and animals. Inspect the
area where the equipment will be used for debris
and remove all stones, pieces of wood, wires, bones
and other extraneous objects.
If the aerator throws some extraneous object -
Follow these steps:
a) Switch off the aerator immediately;
b) Perform any repairs required before turning
the grass mower on and operating it.
Remove any object before switching the equipment
back on. Inspect the area where the equipment will
be used for debris and remove all stones, pieces of
wood, wires, bones and other extraneous objects. A
tool or any other object stuck in the movable parts of
the equipment may result in injury.
Use the aerator on the lawn when it is cut between
30 mm and 50 mm high. For synthetic lawns, its use
in moisture conditions is not recommended.
2 - Personal safety
Wear appropriate garments - Do not wear loose
clothes or jewelry as they may get stuck in the
movable parts of the equipment.
Use safety equipment. Always use safety glasses.
Wearing safety equipment such as gloves, shoes or
ear protection, you increase your safety and reduces
the risk of accidents.
Don't be self-confident. Keep both feet on the
ground to keep balance.
Beware of what is going on and use common sense
when operating the equipment. Do not operate the
equipment when you are tired, distracted or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medications. A
slight moment of distraction may result in serious
injury.
Keep feet and hands away from the disc cutting
area.
Walk, do not run.
Always watch your steps in sloped areas.
On sloping ground, use non-slip footwear and do
not exceed 15° inclination.

3 - Use and Care
Maintain the grass mower in good condition by
never exposing it to rain or humidity. When you are
not using the equipment, keep it in a dry place,
protected from bad weather. Water and moisture
can damage motor electrical circuits and cause
oxidation at the base of the machine.
Use the equipment properly - Do not use the aerator
for any work other than those specified for this
equipment.
Take care of your aerator - Keep the blades clean
and in good condition to achieve good functioning,
safe and good work result.
Never put the equipment away with gasoline in the
tank for long periods. If necessary, keep the motor
running until the fuel is depleted, only then store the
machine.
For operator and equipment safety, replace worn or
damaged parts by calling TRAPP's Technical
Support.
Keep safety devices in adequate places and in good
conditions of use.
Do not exceed 15° (fifteen degrees) inclination for
continuous operation, as this will damage the motor
due to insufficient crankcase oil lubrication, which
will void the warranty.
Do not turn the machine on its side or upside down
to prevent oil from leaking to air filter and carburetor.
To perform steering maneuvers during work, the
front wheels must be suspended, thus facilitating
maneuvers and not impairing motor operation.
Do not overuse the equipment. Use it properly and
for the purposes described in this manual for better
performance and safety while working.
Do not allow people that are not familiar with the
equipment to use it. The equipment may become
dangerous on the hands of people not familiar with
its operation.
Use the equipment during daylight or under good
illumination only.
Move it transversely to slopes and small elevations;
never move it up and down.
