properly rinse the appliance with clean water and use a
cloth to dry it carefully.

Replace the thermocouple

SAFETY THERMOSTAT

The pilot flame does not remain lit:
If, after replacing the thermocouple, the pilot flame
does not remain lit, create a jumper with the wires in
correspondence with the safety thermostat. If the problem
is solved, replace the safety thermostat.
The safety thermostat turns on:
Manually reactivate the thermostat. Turn on the machine
and check the oil temperature of the machine in
continuous operation. The safety thermostat is calibrated
to be activated in a range included between 211 °C and
230 °C.
Check the trigger temperature of the thermostat with an
immersion thermometer.
If the thermostat is activated at a lower temperature,
it must be replaced. If the thermostat is activated at the
foreseen temperature, the problem is caused by the valve
(bulb or capillary).
VALVE
The valve must never be tampered with.
Never replace or tamper the capillary and/or the bulb.
The tampered valves will not be replaced under the
warranty.
The safety thermostat turns on:
After checking the oil temperature, replace the valve.
The pilot flame does not remain lit:
If, after having replaced the thermocouple and created a
jumper with the wires in correspondence with the safety
thermostat, the problem is still present, it is due to the
valve's electromagnet.
If the valve is still under warranty, replace it. If the warranty
period has expired (24 months from the manufacture date
of the valve), replace the electromagnet only.
PIEZOELECTRICAL IGNITION
The spark is not visible:
Visually check the good condition of the piezo (it must not
be dirty with oil) and the small cable must not be cut or
stripped. Moreover, make sure that it is connected to the
frame by means of the cable and/or in contact with the
panel. If the piezo and the cable are in good condition,
replace the plug.
