6. ADDITIONAL SETTINGS

• Registering additional handsets (CB TELIA)
A maximum of 4 CB TELIA reference handsets can be saved on the base station.
If you want to connect an additional handset to your KIT, registration is very simple and fast:
1) The mobile handset must first be charged for 24 hours.
2) When the batteries are fully charged, press and hold down the "Paging"
connection indicator has flashed 5 times, then release.
3) Now, press and hold down the [INT] (Intercom) key on the handset until "New registration" appears on the
screen.
4) Confirm with [OK] to complete the registration process.
5) An acoustic beep sounds and the number displayed on the screen is assigned to the mobile handset.
• Register additional handsets with other brand names
You can manually register other compatible GAP/DECT devices as follows:
1. Hold down the "Paging" XXX key on the base station until the connection indicator has flashed 5 times. Then
release it.
2. Start registering the handset according to the user's manual. RC Code: 1111
• Deleting a mobile handset
1) Press [MENU] to enter the main menu. Scroll down to the symbol
2) Select "Registration"
3) Select [Delete]
4) Confirm by pressing [OK], the message "Please wait" appears on the screen
• Removing a handset (to make room if the handset is broken or lost )
1) Press [MENU] to enter the main menu. Scroll down to the symbol
2) Scroll down to the "Network" menu and press [OK]
3) Scroll down to the "Pause" menu and press [OK] again
4) On the keypad tap the following number "800X" (X represents the number of the handset to be deleted).
Do not enter "8001" as this would remove the pairing between the base station and the external electronic con-
trol unit.
5) The message "De-Sub": X?" Appears at the top of the screen. Select [OK] to delete or [RETURN] to cancel.
Important :
- A handset cannot remove itself
- If the handset to be deleted is out of range of the base station (e.g. lost or off), the procedure has to be
repeated.
