4 • Intercom " Announce Only" (Ann Only) Mode
As for the "Leave Memo" mode, you must first record a welcome message and then select the mode "Announce
Only"
To record a greeting in "Announce only" mode
- In "Menu" select the icon confirm with " OK"
- Select "Record Ann" confirm with "OK"
- Select " Announce Only" confirm with " OK"
- "Record" "OK"
- Leave your message and end with "stop"
- Listen, if the message is appropriate, return to the main menu by pressing "Back" or re-record by pressing "OK"
To select the "Ann Only" mode:
- In " Menu", select the icon and confirm with "OK"
- Select "Set Mode" confirm with " OK"
- Select "Announce Only"
- "Back" to the main screen
- "Ann. Only" appears on the screen
When your visitor presses the button on the intercom panel, it broadcasts the pre-recorded message (eg "I'm not
at home, come back later.»)
This function does not save your visitor's message.
b. Phone settings
• Make a call
1. Enter (maximum 20 characters) you wish to dial.
2. Press the key. The number is dialed.
3. Communication is completed by pressing a button or replacing the handset on the charging station.
• Taking a call
1. The phone rings and the the base station connection indicator LED flashes red.
2. Remove the handset from the charging station to take the call (if the automatic communication function is en-
able, please see page 14 of this manual) or press the key if the phone is not on the charging station.
3. End the communication by pressing the key or the handset on the charging station
• Last number redial
1. Press the key the last numbers dialled are displayed on the screen
2. Press the keys to scroll through the numbers until the one you want.
Tip: If it is a directory entry with name display, use the / to see the phone number.
3. Dial the number by pressing the key .
• Setting the hands free function (speaker)
During a call, you can activate the hands free function.
1. Press the [SPK] button (fig. 2a-c) during a phone call. The loudspeaker symbol lights up on the screen. You
can now speak freely.
2. Press the [HS] button to turn off the loudspeaker and the hands-free function.
