Combination with induction hobs –

In combination with induction hobs the following
free spaces between cabinet and table ventilation
must be observed to allow circulation of air to and
from the induction hob:
A
In front of the air duct:
20 mm distance to the rear side of drawers,
oven or cabinet inside wall.
B
Beside the air duct:
Keep the gap between the air duct and the
cabinet side wall free.
C
On the rear edge of the housing:
Keep the following spaces free:
– housing and wall
– housing and floor
Installation

Check appliance for any transport damage.

Cut out worktop opening. Check that worktop
is level.

Insert blower housing into base cabinet.

Lower top part of the ventilation unit through
the opening in the worktop onto the fan
housing. Do not damage the seal.

Align appliance in cabinet: All depths are
measured from the rear edge of the top part of
the table ventilation (flush with the wall) and the
opening in the worktop.

Take off ventilator lid.
7a Only for air recirculation mode:
Mark correct position of exhaust opening on
cabinet base (min. 1800 cm
blower housing base. Cut out opening. Blower
housing must fully cover exhaust opening.
Seal break-out openings on the side wall inside
the blower housing with the protective film
included.
7b Only for air exhaust mode:
For exhaust pipe to the side: remove break-out
opening in the blower housing with a suitable
tool (e.g. rubber mallet). Seal remaining break-
out opening on the side wall inside the blower
housing with the protective film included.

Screw fan housing to front of the cabinet side
walls, use spacers if necessary. For oversize
cabinets screw fan housing to cabinet bottom.

Mark front of the housing on worktop. Lift
appliance top part slightly and support on both
sides. Apply silicone along marking on worktop.
Lower appliance top part onto worktop.
Smoothen silicone.
10 Screw furniture support onto appliance,
cabinet side walls and worktop.
11a Only for air recirculation mode:
Insert activated carbon filter in fan housing. The
filter mat must lie flat. Refit ventilator lid.
11b Only for air exhaust mode:
Attachment of exhaust pipe directly in the
blower housing using 90° elbow pipe (AD 754
044). Do not remove the grid on the blower
outlet. Connect ducting using AD7.. or AD8..
Seal all connections with tape.
12 Remove the transport safeguard from the air
intake.
13 Lift off cover. Insert fluorescent lamp into the
socket. Turn fluorescent lamp in socket until it
engages. Replace cover.

The connecting cables of the cooking appliances
are laid through the middle of the air duct to the
rear. Water in/outlet pipes must not be laid through
the air duct.
Insert the plug of the control cable into the fan
housing.
Insert the plug of the connecting cable into an
accessible socket. If all poles of the appliances
cannot be isolated from the mains by removing an
accessible plug, an isolating device with a contact
gap of at least 3 mm must be installed.
If the mains connecting cable is damaged, it must
be replaced with a special mains connecting cable
that is available through the manufacturer or its
customer service.
