7.2.2 Replacing external tubing
7.2.2.1 Prime the analyser with air.
7.2.2.2 Disconect the analyser from the power supply and remove any buffer from the
drawer at the front of the analyser.
7.2.2.3 Pull the length of tubing from the connectors at both ends and discard it.
7.2.2.4 Push the new length of tubing onto the connectors ensuring a watertight fit.
7.3 REPLACING SYRINGE ASSEMBLY
7.3.1 Prime the analyser with air.
7.3.2 Disconnect the analyser from the power supply and remove any buffer from the
drawer at the front of the analyser.
7.3.3 Unscrew and remove the plunger retaining screw.
7.3.4 Use the knurled ferrule at the top of the syringe to unscrew the syringe from the
valve assembly. Ensure that the Teflon washer is removed from the valve port.
7.3.5 Place a new Teflon washer in the valve port and screw in the replacement syringe
and plunger assembly.
7.3.6 Fix the plunger using the new plunger retaining screw, ensuring that the screw
passes through the hole in the plunger.
7.4 REPLACING SYRINGE PLUNGER
7.4.1 Prime the analyser with air.
7.4.2 Disconnect the analyser from the power supply and remove any buffer from the
drawer at the front of the analyser.
7.4.3 Unscrew and remove the plunger retaining screw.
7.4.4 Withdraw the plunger from the syringe and discard it.
7.4.5 Push the new plunger into the syringe and fix it using the plunger retaining screw,
ensuring that the screw passes through the hole in the plunger.
7.5 REPLACING RIGHT ANGLE CONNECTOR
7.5.1 Prime the analyser with air.
7.5.2 Pull the tubing away from the stainless steel right angle connector. Ensure that the
tubing does not slip inside the machine.
7.5.3 Pull the right angle connector from the bottle lid/grommet assembly and replace it
with a new one.
7.5.4 Push the tubing back onto the right angle connector
