Annex 1: Extended storage checklist
Applicable to: Large fans with metal impellers, not supplied in cartons, should be stored so that:-
Impellers must be rotated minimum 10 turns once a month.
Motor insulation tested every 3 months.
Motor anti-condensation heater energized, if fitted.
Storage must not exceed 1 year, without review by supplier / manufacturer for possible damage to motor, bearings, grease.
Regular inspection and check list to be completed.
