BB. Anti-Tips
1. Disengaging Anti-tips
a. Pull Anti-tip down parallel to the adjustment tube and rotate upward as shown in Fig. 61.
b. Anti-tip may be left floating for curb navigation, or it may be rotated all the way up into the
detent (Fig. 61:A) to hold it up.
c. To re-engage, lift anti-tip back up over detent (if engaged in detent) and push downward to
re-latch into place.
2. Removing Anti-tips
a. Using a 4mm Allen wrench and a 10mm wrench or socket, remove pivot screw and nut (Fig.
61:B).
b. Using a 3mm Allen wrench and an 8mm wrench or socket, remove angle adjustment screw
and nut (Fig. 61:C).
c. Remove anti-tip from chair along with anti-tip bushing from axle plate hole.
d. It is recommended to reassemble screws and nuts with bushing back together to avoid loss
of parts until future use.
