T. Seat Frame Setup
1. Setting Seat Depth
a. Using a 4mm Allen wrench and a 10mm wrench, remove seat pan from frame (See Section
CC). If lengthening more than 2" (5.08 cm) for even depths or 1" (2.54 cm) for odd depths,
new seat pan parts will be required. Please contact Customer Service for assistance.
b. Using a 4mm Allen wrench and a 10mm wrench, remove button head screws (Fig. 43:A, B,
and C) from both sides of chair.
c. Slide front seat tube in or out as desired. Replace screw B at proper position as shown in
the table of Figure 43 for your respective front seat tube. Do not tighten screw/nut.
d. Fasten seat frame into yoke at position indicated in table. Replace screw A, but do not
tighten screw/nut.
e. Fasten mech lock mount into position indicated in table. Replace screw C. Do not tighten
screw/nut.
f. Repeat for both sides of chair. Once all screws are in place, screws/nuts may be tightened.
WARNING: The distance from screw A to screw C is ALWAYS to be exactly 9" (22.86 cm). If set
to different value, damage to chair can occur.
