After use

 Uncouple the closed-circuit breathing apparatus: press the button
and at the same time pull the plug-in coupling out of the connector.
To prevent damage, do not pull the connector.
Full face
 Remove the helmet if necessary.

 Push the adjuster buckles of the neck straps
forward with your thumb and loosen the straps
(Figure E).
 Pull the Dräger FPS 7000 RP away from your face
over your head.
Mask/
 Open the chin strap of the helmet.

 Pull both mask/helmet adapters evenly to the rear,
combination
then flip them away from the helmet.
with S-fix
 Remove the Dräger FPS 7000 RP.

 Remove the helmet.
Mask/
 Open the chin strap of the helmet.

 Pull both mask/helmet adapters slightly forward
combination
and press the press studs to unlock.
with Q-fix
 Pull both mask/helmet adapters evenly to the rear,
adapter
then flip them away from the helmet.
 Remove the Dräger FPS 7000 RP.
 Remove the helmet.

Recommended test and maintenance intervals

The following information complies with DGUV-R 112-190 valid in
Germany. Observe national directives.
Type of work to be performed
Check by the device user
Visual inspection, function and leak test
Cleaning and disinfection
Replace the O-rings on the speech
diaphragm and the wiper shaft
Replace speech diaphragm
Replace the drinking valve

For full face masks in air-tight packaging: every 2 years
2)
For full face masks in air-tight packaging, otherwise every 6 months
