During use
●
Use the rotary knob to operate the wiper whenever the visor fogs
up.
Drinking during operation
WARNING
The drinking tube should only be connected and disconnected
when you are not within the danger zone so that the inside of the
drinking system does not get contaminated.
●
Swivel the drinking valve out of the cap, then remove the covering
cap from the drinking valve.
●
Connect the coupling of the drinking tube to the drinking valve.
●
Swivel the drinking valve a bit until you can easily put the
mouthpiece in your mouth.
●
Bite the mouthpiece slightly and suck in the drinking liquid.
●
After drinking, swivel the drinking valve out of the cap completely,
so that the drinking valve does not cause inconvenience.
●
After use, disconnect the drinking tube coupling from the drinking
valve.
●
Put the protective cap on the drinking valve before swiveling it
back into the cap.

Extreme operating conditions
High Temperatures / Alternating Thermal Stress
WARNING
Leave the danger zone immediately when noticing any signs of
damage to the facepiece, e.g. bubbles in the visor.
The coating may dissolve in some places on visors marked with
PCas. The Dräger FPS 7000 RP is fully serviceable until the end of
the operation. Replace visor after use.
Chemicals
Some substances may be absorbed by the material of the Dräger
FPS 7000 RP and may possibly diffuse into it. For more information
please contact Dräger.
Potentially explosive areas
WARNING
If the Dräger FPS 7000 RP is used in potentially explosive areas,
apply antistatic spray or water mist to the facepiece.
Otherwise there is danger of explosion due to electrostatic charge.
After use
●
Uncouple the closed-circuit breathing apparatus: Press button
and at the same time pull out the plug-in coupling from the
connection piece.
To prevent damage, do not pull the connection piece!

Push the adjuster buckles of the neck straps forward with your
thumb and loosen the straps (Figure E on Page 3).
●
Pull the Dräger FPS 7000 RP away from the face over the head.
