Inline filters
The HP and LP hoses are connected to the
ACS 651/751 through inline filters (Fig. 1, Pos. 10). The
inline filters prevent the entry of external particulate
matter into the internal hydraulic path of the
ACS 651/751.

Brakes
The ACS 651/751 can be prevented from rolling away
by applying brakes
(Fig. 2, Pos.
3.4.12
Power cable and master switch
The power cable is connected to the inlet (Fig. 2, Pos. 7)
and then to the mains supply. When not in use, the
power cable can be wound on the cable holder
(Fig. 2, Pos. 8) on the rear panel (Fig. 2, Pos. 4). The
ACS 651/751 can be powered on by turning the switch
to the vertical position.

4.
Commissioning

All the operations described in chapter 4 must be per-
formed prior to initial vehicle A/C system servicing.
4.1
Removing the transport packaging
1. Remove the carton box.
2. Remove the transport packaging.
3. Remove the components placed beneath the
ACS 651/751.
4. Move the ACS 651/751 out of the packaging palette.
5. Disconnect the power cable form power inlet.
6. Open the rear panel (Fig. 14, Pos. 2).

7. Remove the packaging for the refrigerant cylinder
(Fig. 14, Pos. 1).

During the removal of packaging around the refriger-
ant cylinder, ensure that the hoses from the cylinder
do not touch the chassis or the filter drier. Also en-
sure that the electrical connections to the air-purge
manifold and temperature sensor on the cylinder are
not damaged.
8. Visually, check for oil spillage.

Do not disconnect electrical connections or tamper
with the internal components.

If there is any damage oil spillage, contact customer
service.
9. Close the rear panel.
