Small wood fragments must be slowly
pushed, longitudinally, to prevent chips from
being thrown against the operator.
Check whether machine is properly
connected.
The equipment must rest safely on the
ground.
To avoid overloading TDP, shredder must be
parallel to the ground.
Blades must be sharp.
Check whether output device is properly
assembled and in the right direction.
Properly secure and adjust counter-blade.
Check for the presence of tools or objects
on motor or equipment, mainly inside the
funnel.
Check for people, pets or objects near the
area.
Attention!
Unless when maintaining, do not remove
safety devices, protection covers or
collectors. When removal is necessary,
stop the motor, handle carefully and
reassemble properly before using the
equipment again.
To prevent major accidents, do not put
your hand inside the funnel.
Note:
If equipment is properly prepared, start
the motor. Wait for it to reach maximum
revolution and start working.
Keep diesel or gasoline motors running
for some minutes to reach normal
working temperature.
Do neither start nor leave a diesel
or gasoline motor running in closed
environments, with no ventilation.
Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide,
an odorless and lethal gas.
Turning the shredder on
When all preparation steps are done, the
machine will be ready for use.
Tractor discharge power must be 540 rpm.
Feeding and shredding system
Before starting to work, make sure the machine
has reached maximum speed.
After properly directing the output device,
open the funnel cover.
Select the material to be shredded; do not
exceed maximum cutting length of Ø 4, Ø 7
and Ø 8 cm according to the model.
Small branches can be shredded if placed
facing entry.
Do not push small branches with your
hands. Use long pieces of wood to do it. If
necessary, use an adequate device to push
the material.
Before inserting the material to be
shredded into funnel, remove different
parts of wood not to damage blades.
